V. Static Groups
1) Static Groups are more than welcome within the guild understanding that they may only play with the same rules or make them more difficult.
2) Static Groups "may" opt to run with guild members at large in raids.
3) Static Groups may invite "guild members" as guest stars.
4) All members of the static group who use guild resources (ship) must be enrolled in our guild.
VI. Activity
1) All members of the guild are required to register on our forums.
2) If you will be away for an extended amount of time please use the forum to let us know.
VII Governance
1) The Guild Leader will serve solely for administrative purposes of the guild for not less than six months and not more than one year.
2) The Guild Leader will appoint a successor based upon seniority in the guild (join date)
3) The Guild Leader is responsible for promoting the guild, posting on the DDO forums etc. and to keep “their arms around the events of the guild”.
4) Only accept an Officer Title if you are willing to administer the functions of the guild leader.
5) The Guild Leader will "not" make changes by fiat. Changes to the bylaws will only be made if needed due to changing of game mechanics by Turbine and on a case by case basis and will be reviewed by the five most senior and/or active Officers including the Guild Leader.
6) All changes to guild rules will be decided by the four most senior and active officers. A 75% vote is needed to adopt a change.
VIII. Personal Rules:
1) You may impose tighter restrictions ON YOURSELF than our rules require, but may not use them to isolate yourself from the guild or to criticize other members.
IX. Etiquette:
1. Any instance of slandering, flaming, or talk that is "conventionally" considered inappropriate, are grounds from removal from the guild and all forums run by the guild.
2. Any instance of grieving - purposely ruining a quest - are grounds for removal.
