More or less I was just saying that, really, selling to or buying from the pawn shop were not real 'possibilities' - because since none of our characters ever even go near the AH for any purpose, there is no opportunity for us to get huge amounts of platinum. Therefore you would spend all of your coin to buy one unbound item (or sell ten items to get the value of one item, as it were) when most things on the pawn shop are junk anyway - so it is a zero sum equation for anyone who shops there In other words, as rules go - that one is good for flavor, but it doesn't really do much in terms of gameplay (you can buy a +1 weapon of elemental / pure good on the pawn shop in the marketplace all day - and you can also get them like candy from quest end rewards and chest drops. One is free (quest) and one cost 1,000 plat (pawnbroker). 10x quest items = one pawnbroker purchase, so you quickly run out of coin if you shop at a broker, for example. I'm for not buying, but being able to sell. The only real reason I am for not buying is that if I find a click item of xyz - it should have some inherent value other than, "whee, I can buy 1o of these off the pawnbroker." So I would not be as comfortable adventuring with a guy who made me wait before every fight while he used one of his 30 click items.

The clickies can slow things down.

Clickies are the DDO version of pocket protectors IMHO - unless they are used on the fly by keyboard shortcuts
